With the theatre business not being as profitable as it once was, Bob and Dorothy decided to sell. The Malek was sold to Don Yoerger and Charles Houton from LaMars, IA. The new owners covered the aerial photo in the lounge with a new photo and installed a new refreshment stand with a cold drink dispenser.
